The Art of the Body

Our Philosophy - The Body Remembers

Body Conditioning began with a simple discovery: the body remembers.

After years of writing, filmmaking, and working behind a desk, founder June Wang experienced chronic pain, stiffness, and physical limitations. When she began studying dance, she realized the greatest challenge was not learning choreography—it was rediscovering the body's natural intelligence.

Through years of studying Argentine tango, ballet, contemporary dance, acting, Gaga, Feldenkrais, and somatic movement, she discovered the body's remarkable ability to adapt, heal, and transform through mindful, consistent practice. Body Conditioning grew from this journey.

We believe it is never too late to return to your body, awaken its wisdom, and move through life with greater strength, balance, grace, and joy.

Our Approach - Grow from the earth

Like a tree, every movement begins with strong roots.

Rather than training isolated muscles, we cultivate an integrated body—grounded, balanced, expressive, and free. Our approach is guided by five simple principles:

Ground

Movement begins with the feet. Develop stability, balance, and a deep connection to the earth.

Align

Organize the body from the ground upward, creating efficient posture, healthy joints, and a resilient spine.

Awaken

Cultivate body awareness, breath, coordination, and mindful movement. The body already knows more than we often realize.

Express

Freedom grows from awareness. As tension dissolves, movement becomes graceful, expressive, and uniquely your own.

Flourish

A healthy body supports a creative life. Our goal is not simply to move more, but to move through life with greater confidence, vitality, joy, and human connection.
